The Colorado Rockies and the desert southwest scenes of Utah and Arizona or some of the best landscape opportunities in America.  The majestic Rocky Mountains offer the best in alpine environment photography, including ghost towns, wildflowers, fall colors and just spectacular mountain scenery.  The deserts of Utah and Arizona offer stunning and sometimes surreal rock art, Anasazi and Fremont Indian sites, and the vistas of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, Cedar Mesa, Monument Valley, and the San Rafael Swell.

 

National award-winning photographer Bob Maynard offers custom private and small group photo tours that are specifically planned to meet your wishes no matter where the location.  The photo tours are planned to provide quick access to the types of places and shots you are seeking and are planned with the knowledge of the areas to get you there in the right season, the right time of day and the right lighting.  You will get the individual instruction you need to go home with the best images of your life.  If you wish we can spend part of the time processing your images in Photoshop.

 

NOTE:  I am currently researching and planning a spring multi-day workshop in NE New Mexico that will center around historic missions and churches and their art, plus some early Anasazi ruins in the area.  Many of these buildings still contain their original artwork, dating from the mid-1600’s to the mid-1800’s.  Night photography will be included.
