Embark on a thrilling 4-day adventure into the heart of Africa's most iconic forests. This safari begins in the bustling urban landscape of Kigali, Rwanda, and takes you through the picturesque hills of rural areas, ultimately leading you to the Bwindi Gorilla Forest in Uganda, renowned for its exceptional gorilla trekking experiences. This trip also includes a community walk in Uganda after the gorilla trek, and concludes with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, providing a meaningful and reflective end to your safari.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda and transfer to the hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our staff to brief you on your safaris and introduces to the tour guides. They will greet you with a smile, embodying the hospitality of the land of a thousand hills, and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP in Uganda
In the morning, after breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the beautiful scenery and terraced farming. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas. You will have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable NP and Batwa cultural village
Early in the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee before preparing for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority officials. Afterwards, you will enter the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas and observe their lifestyle in their natural habitat. Upon finding the gorillas, you can spend an hour watching these magnificent creatures and gazing into their big, round eyes. A gorilla safari requires a reasonable level of fitness. The gorilla tracking experience can last half a day or a whole day, depending on the gorillas' movements. This experience will leave you with unforgettable memories. In the afternoon, get ready for a village foot safari to explore the indigenous local life of Batwa and Later back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Bwindi to Kigali for departure (Travel Time: 5 hrs)
Start your day with an early morning breakfast followed by a short sightseeing experience, perfect for photography. Afterwards, embark on your vehicle and drive back to Kigali. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in Kigali before visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. After this poignant visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
